It was one of the few settings where it actually made sense to make a game like that. What actually happened was ND/Sony with bungies input decided that factions would need huge ongoing investment to remain viable anfter the initial fanfare, and sony/nd decided they didn’t want to invest that much into the game.

Yea probably one of the most public dirty moves in gaming history. Some xbots infiltrated Sony, caught the ears of upper management and told them that their franchise player was mid, because, Destiny...... Then dropped a weed plate
