so-called wrestling fans can only blame themselves.

this is what happenes when you pledge allegiance to the WWE and automatically dismiss any wrestling promotion with enough money behind it to pose a threat to vince.

you can show all the fake love you want to your favorite indie promotion, that you know will never be any competition as a company. almost all of the wrestlers are gonna eventually leave for a big payday, unless theyre big internationally......and they will eventually go to the WWE as well, before their prime is up.

I personally don’t think Cody, Bucks n co are getting money like ppl claim they are. If that was da case, ppl like Joe, Seth Rollins, Ambrose, AJ n Daniel Brian would still be in tha indies.

joe, styles & Danielson were turning down WWE deals years before they went over there.

Cody is on record saying he made the most money in his career he ever made last year

And that's not the case, no wrestlers have ever done or have the work ethic to do as much merchandise as the Young Bucks do. They run their own shop from their home, They have Pro Wrestling tees money, ROH/NJPW/PWG/etc money

Them dudes have like 10+ streams of income, you out your mind

Be the world champion of some Chicago promotion and have to bounce from Ohio to California to wrestle in front of maybe 700 people in a gym or a hall while also having to personally sell merch to these grown ass men
And having to hope njpw will let you be in a few triple tag matches or you can get booked in roh and have to be so outstanding they invest in you

Or a steady paycheck and even if all u do is job you make twice what you make as an indie guy or gal. Unless u the bucks Cody Rhodes Kenny omega or maybe jay lethal u not making what fukking joe makes right now

It's just that up until a couple years ago, those guys getting steady paychecks to just job or sit at catering, were the first ones to go during Deavors seasons.

Now that they're trying to keep talent under the umbrella it works out for jobbers. Can't hate on jobbers for trying to get paid.

It's a good thing for the indie scene because it frequently opens up spots and allows new guys to break out and flourish. Every year there is a whole new crop of indie guys that are super hot because 10 of the bigger names went to WWE that fall. That's a benefit for all involved.

I have no clue what the bucks are making. Let's say 300k. AJ can clear 2 Milly in the E. Some guys don't want to fly to Japan. Everyone on the indys arent making bucks money.

The cruisers making 60-100k are better off in the E than grinding on the indys with no merch sales.

I'm not sure about the cruisers. They barely get any exposure, don't get house show checks and 90% of them don't even have a merch section on WWE.com.

The rest of the main roster caking if they're getting house show matches and merch checks.

This is short term thinking from Joe.

Just think about WalMart

They moved into all of these communities, bought out all of the other stores, and then when there was no competition, they drastically started raping their employees because what are they gonna do?

Hell, people who work full time at Walmart are on welfare for fukks sake.

So yeah, in the short term, Joe's right, but in 10 years when there's ZERO indies, you think that Vince is still gonna be paying what he's paying?

You won't all be able to run to Mexico & Japan.

Defend capitalism, brehs.:hhh:

If the indies are dead in 10 years, it's because they indies didn't self regulate and keep producing new stars for WWE to take in the first place. The indies have to be culled every year or two to open up new spots and allow new guys to break out, which has happened after every single indie "raid" WWE has done going back a decade+ now. WWE and the indies have a symbiotic relationship. They have to, literally the indies don't exist without WWE, and WWE would have a hard time filling their roster with just football and track washouts in 2018.

Despite WWE taking all these hot guys (and women now as well) from the indies, the indies keep getting hotter and hotter and producing more and more talent. This isn't the 80s and Vince intentionally trying to put everyone else out of business.

I see what you're saying. If the Performance Center was actually producing great talent, they'd probably stop signing indy guys.

So far it takes about 4 or 5 years for even the best division 1 athlete to be main roster ready while they just send up green girls if they look good and can execute a few moves.
