Samuel P. Huntington (Clash of Civilizations) - Prophet?

I remember reading the Clash of Civilizations back in the day and it fascinated me. Part of the reason why my views have changed so much over the years is because my mind always brought me back to the truths and predictions outlined by Mr. Huntington that put events happening in real-time within the perfect and proper context.

Great topic. The book has aged well in some aspects, but the idea that culture/religion etc will be the basis of future conflict wasn't particularly novel. A lot of people discounted/talked down on the book because it's obvious he harbors a strong sense of western/white superiority.
