Should college education and healthcare be a constitutional right?

Just had another baby boomer lecture me about how college isn't a right after I said that college should be a right, he also explained to me how he paid for all his classes in advance and worked his way through community college to a 4 year anniversary, he conveniently ignored my question about how much tuition cost when he went to school

Why are older people so disgusted an appalled at the idea of college being free for everyone? Is it as simple as the fact that THEY had to pay for it so they don't want someone else to get it for free? The baby boomer tried to get into a pissing match in regards to how many hours I work per week and that he had to "work two full-time jobs" to pay for college. Breh is telling me he worked 80 hours a week to afford college in the 70s?

because a bunch of old motherfukkers are completely out-of-touch and haven't experienced paying 30,000$ a year for college. I'm so fukking tired of old people lecturing our generation about this shyt. If you're above the age of 32 your opinion about whether college should be free shouldn't even be counted

I worked Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30 pm at a medical billing office. I worked 32 hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday cleaning offices. I went to school Monday through Thursday.

As I said, you can do it if you truly want to do it. The office job paid the bills and the cleaning job paid for school.

What it really comes down to is workers parroting ruling class ideas. Instead of demanding more and recognizing how the possibilities of the day conflict with what the system offers, some opt to keep a small mind and worldview and demand nothing. They're content to slave away for the ruling class, on the ruling class' terms.

Just seems like a weird way to prioritize things. And how do you make college education or healthcare more of a right than they already are? I think there are unnecessary barriers to them, but I don't think making them "rights" is reasonable.
