Should the Cavs consider blowing up their core?

Even as a USC fan I never really saw it, what your talking about is an AD type player
Which he was never going to be. The question was always if and how quickly his offense could catch up to his defense.

At this point, even being JJJ on offense would work wonders for that team and his offensive development.

Spend your money better then :manny:. I have 0 regard for billionaires pockets.

Oh I’m not saying we should have sympathy for Dan Gilbert's pockets

I'm just saying when you have the highest payroll in the league and also are top 3 in RS wins over a 5-year span, fans aren't gonna be happy just to make the playoffs

Whats wrong with being regular? Everybody isn't gonna compete for chips. Some squads are gonna make the playoffs every year and win a round or if everything breaks get to a CF. Nothing wrong with this. They arent some historical power. They don't have a transcendent player. Win 45-55 games every year and get a couple rounds of playoff revenue and KIM.

Donovan Mitchell needs to do everything in his power to either go to Orlando or Toronto. Both those teams are so physical and have power forwards that can run the offense and play top level defense , putting him in a position where he only has to worry about scoring. Any team asking him to be a scorer, distributor and having to hide him on defense is just not gonna be primed for a Finals run.

They make playoffs each year they don't have Bron and Kyrie to carry them to the finals and they're not attractive free agent destination. Might as well be that 2nd round treadmill.

But would they be happy "rebuilding" for an extended period? Because that is the more likely outcome. Payroll aint got nothing to do with fans. They paying out the ass regardless.
