Do you know how hard it is to combo people like that? Having to wavedash/L-cancel/jump-cancel/etc....If this was Brawl I would understand, but competitive Melee is no joke.

Because to actually do that stuff you have to be inputting a crazy amount, and a lot of the moves are within a couple frames. So you're doing high speed, high precision moves under high stress because you don't want to get ganked in front of your friends.
