how the hell did Biggs suddenly become so public

wasnt he always the silent partner? people always whispered that he was the real money behind The ROC

now I constantly hear of him

as for Kanye, anyone else and that would have been a serious line crossing but Im sure Jay-Z knows you have to cut Kanye some slack, he's always had this only child, spoiled brat way about him

seriously.

Here's the real story: Kanye's been wack and an attention whore since his debut. His gimmick is played the fukk out and you're talking about "I miss old Ye". Old Ye is the same as New Ye. 99% gimmick driven, 1% passable music

yeezus was a musicians album.

Musicians and critics loved that shyt.

mbtdf was more digestible though and I perferred it.
:scust: The pretentiousness in that statement as a musician I don't fukk with yeezus and it's not above any rap critics opinion to give :trash: credit where credit is due...it's a rap album, not an alt rock/ indie album....fukk cares what some cac hipster in brooklyn thinks

Yeezus was slop compared to mbtdf, song structure wise, instrumentation wise, sound and sample selection sucked, lyrics were garbage, and conceptually it was:trash:

as a musician

Sorry I meant successful musicians

Ive been in the studio with some of the most successful music producers, engineers, ect in the game and a lot of them praise the technical heights he reached on that album. I dont do music (im an art director in the music industry) so i cant really comment on what they are talking about but I appreciate the skill for what it is.

There is a lot of things in art/design that the average person wouldn't understand or appreciate, but just because the average person doesn't get it, it doesn't take away from its brilliance or craftsmanship.

Yeezus did influence a lot of the way music sounds today

Yeezus is a hip hop album, a hip hop album you're not comfortable with.
I don't like the comment that guy made about it being a musicians album, because that just adds to the hate you guys have for it, thinking that it's pretentious, and plenty of people like me just enjoy the music.
Rap critics loved Yeezus to, critics in general, so I don't know what you're saying.
I'm not gonna argue with the rest of your post, though I do think it's a load of fukking garbage.

You mean people in the industry which really doesn't define whether someone is a great musician or not....but I appreciate the insult :manny:
:sas2:more pretentious rambling and a an ad hominem jab too, you really didn't defend the album or explain why musicians appreciate it, you simply said they do for technical reasons, that you admit you don't understand, yet have a profound appreciation for...which seems the case for most kanye fans when they try to defend this :trash: album:sas1:

The emperor's new clothes is what that album is
He was channelling death grips lol :martin:

Kanye is the Dave Chappelle that never went to Africa of rap. New Kanye is way more entertaining than old Kanye. He's Michael Jackson status. Gotta love and hate him. He might be our greatest living entertainer of modern times. Seriously who is his competition? Maybe Chocolate Droppa/Kevin Hart's alter ego...

Im not going to go back and fourth about some guy 100 times richer than me.

I have no idea why you didnt make it in music, your right there is a lot of politics. But your inability to step outside yourself and see why people like a certain thing could be good really reason and probably makes you hard to work with and hard to take criticism.

And again, I dont even really care for this album, but thats my taste.

Honestly, who gives a fukk. This shyt is so much like a day time soap opera it ain't even funny. I've like Ye's music since 2000 but honestly since he came on the scene he been a big diva. I've always found his temper tantrums annoying whenever he would win award and then the feel the need to get on stage and still act like an ss for no reason. But now the tantrums stand out more cause the music ain't hitting at all. So now we're left with a man who just rants and raves about his how much of a genius he is without any "good" music to back up that notion.

The thing is, he's always been this way, it's just he got more famous and more money now and he's become an even BIGGER ass. All the fame, yes-men and ass kissers have gone to his head and ego.

I know he going through a rough time right now with his wife getting robbed and all that, but the way bruh was acting and talking bout Jay Z/Tidal/Apple/Watch The Throne on stage was some straight up bytch shyt. Who airs out their dirty laundry like that on stage? shyt was unprofessional and just bytch like.

What Jay and Biggs (just like some of the rest of us) miss is the Kanye who once was a more tamed "Monster" than he is now. Now his ego is so big they don't even know how to talk to him anymore cause he thinks he's Walt Disney, Andy Warhol, Shakespeare, and Pablo Picasso :francis:
TLOP was a good album though. It was only average by Kanye standards. But I agree with almost everything else. Even that Swift shyt was stupid of him, even if he was right. Why the fukk are you beefing with pop stars? It's crazy how perhaps the most critically acclaimed artist of the 21st century has made people forget that.

Again you making it personal and you're discussing me...instead of the album, I'm all ears, why is it a great album ?
You're the one who says it's above the average laymens musical sensibilities or just the average musician for that matter, and you supposedly understand why/??, so instead of insulting me, simply say why it's a great album, or refute one of the remarks I made about it.....:Whatbytch:
