Let alone actually get a hit off of a big league pitcher.

Most people would be too shook to even have the correct posture to even attempt to hit the ball.

Your average person ain't bout that life of having 80+ mph baseball's thrown in their direction.

The fear alone of getting hit by a pitch is gonna dead the average persons chances of making contact.

Kruk was so shook that the next time he faced Johnson he decided to bat right handed

Damn shame what Johnson did to that bird and almost killing Billy The Marlin and those where just warm up pitches :lolbron:

I swear from the t.v camera angle, a left handed hitter against Randy Johnson was always a scary looking site:merchant:

straight up I stopped playing baseball in little league. A pitcher hit me with a fastball in my calf, I was able to make it through the game off adrenaline. I was limping for a good 3 days afterwards. To me there was no sense in having a ball that hard coming at you that fast.

I played high school baseball. We played a white school who had a pitcher that topped b/t 85 - 90 mph. Standing in the hitters box, you can hear the ball sing as it flew by you. Another one of their pitchers threw great curve balls. The ball literally looked like it was about to hit you then it dropped across the plate.

I got hit by a 80 mph fastball in the side and the pain was instant and unreal.

They called pro athletes for a reason.

I seen Lebron, Steph Curry, Prime T-Mac, Westbrook play in person.

Seeing them on tv doesn't do them justice. Seeing Lebron on a fast break n dunking or literally LEVITATING to catch an alley IN PERSON have u like

:gladbron::damn:

Even bench players had me like

:gladbron:

Just the way they shoot the ball, just str8 NET.

I was at game 7 against the pacers in 2013. It really doesn't translate how quickly him and Wade would get down the court on the break. Blink and you miss it type shyt.

Yea, man I went to a Wizards vs Hornets game a while back, and it was amazing at how fast they were getting up and down the court

look at how fast the ball gets to the plate. shyt is insane

in hs my brother got hit by a 96 mph fastball thrown by a guy who currently plays for the dodgers. hit him in his tricep, he said the pain was instant and to the point he damn near wanted to cry. bruise was the size of a grapefruit and lasted 2-3 weeks. shyt is no joke. i can see why MLB players get fukking furious when a pitcher is throwing at them.
