Wasn’t really feeling this episode TBH. :patrice:

Jessie just showing up outta nowhere at just the right time…:comeon:

They didn’t let Ellie go :demonic: enough like they did in the game.

Weird ass abrupt flashback ending.

:what:

The writers are trying their absolute hardest to condense shyt. But they’re making some noticeable mistakes with details like that.
I played the games. Thers alot i remeber but
theres alot i forgot too.

If they set up shop that close to their enemies in the game id ask the same question.

It makes no sense. The gave up the chase on ellie and her crew like "we cant go in there" moments later their wolf homie is getting cerimoniously gutted 50 yards from their own base.

Dudes with automatics and laser scopes scared of bow n arrows?

Having a no-go zone makes sense to me :manny: let's say the WLF enters the park guns blazing and kill 50 Seraphites in the vicinity. They still got to worry about all the other scars and they know some will get ambushed and gutted.

I'm pretty sure they show will eventually get to showing us how the Scars can deal with the WLF despite having a big weapons disadvantage. But I'm ok with what the show has told us or shown us so far. The Wolves flock to the Scars because of their religion/out of survival and the Scars are really good at scare tactics, symbolism and straight up killing people.

And breh, if you played the game is very much explained why Seattle is the way it is :hubie:

More eps definitely would have helped. Its a lot of tell not show going on atm

Dina is basically Ellie in this somehow

It works for the story they want to tell with the 7 episodes they got to tell it (I hope Zaslav becomes a spore factory).

People would have been bytching big time if she got left at the theater the whole time. Why not just split Bog Ellie’s duties in half. That way she doesn’t have to talk to herself out loud to explain lore, or read through a bunch of notes and diaries like we did.

The game, though we had all the time in the world to explore, felt like a race to the big singularity at times (the theater “meeting”). The tension came from the unknown. Even though we knew we wouldn’t miss out on Abby. The story, atmosphere, and distractions did a good job of giving us that feeling in the back of our mind. People may have been frustrated if they did it game style with an hour episode. The show condenses it all but still kind of slows shyt down by filling the empty space with Dinah-Ellie dialogue.

I thought they handled the Seraphites encounter perfectly.

Do gamers really wanna travel the same path as GOT book readers? Lol
Most of them are oblivious as to how the sound. It's one thing to think the OG material is better (that's usually the case for any adaptation anyways) but a lot of people just go insane with the nitpicking and hate.

I also think there's a good number of people that didn't even like the 2nd game and still hate watch just so they can complain and get engagement online like they did when the game came out :mjlol:

You're fine with the shytty ass writing like, "I'm going to be a dad!?!" I think a majority of the audience enjoyed S1-S5 of Game of Thrones because it followed the source material which was great. The changes the show made during those seasons were good too for the most part. S6 and S7 of GOT makes me wary of anything HBO puts out using their own creative license. House of Dragon S2 was straight ass too.

The changes from the source material on TLOU so far make no sense / were done poorly. It's frustrating seeing something you enjoyed being b*stardized.

The scars were fukking them up just as bad as the WLF could do them. They’re quieter than the WLF, move deep, and they use guns too. They only feared the dogs.

The territories and spacing is easier to work with in the game because we have all day to explore and just run into scripted patrols.

Drawn out combat can be like that in real life. We may or may not know that we’re close to each other. If we did, sometimes we just set up security and rest our head for a little bit while we plot on how to dig them out. They’re doing the same.
