criticizing mowed lawns is nitpicking …
so are you seriously gonna compare that to a pregnancy test or any thing related that expires?
to taking any type of local pharmacy off the counter product from a quarter of a century there after

Show gives the vibe that the show runner doesn't want to spend a significant portion of his life adapting a video game series.

Which is fair, but I wish these show wouldn't rush the game. I get it, tho.

Even, The 1st game could of been broken up for over two seasons too if they wanted to flesh out, but they didn't want too.

People don't understand this but almost all of these long running tv shows are filled with high profile people that want to be doing anything but the show. Everyone is so invested in what they're interested they don't care about that fact.

This argument doesn't hold weight for this show, though. One of the executive producers for the show is Neil Druckmann, who is the writer and creative director for both Last of Us games.

What does that mean? Because he's into it everyone else is? The actors, the rest of the writing room, etc. Its not set in stone that everyone is just happy go lucky glad to be here.

You highlighted the part of Sghost's post talking about the showrunner :mjtf:

The showrunners are clearly heavily invested in the show. Also, they release weekly podcasts discussing each episode and why they did what they did.

I don't care what I highlighted, read what I wrote

"People don't understand this but almost all of these long running tv shows are filled with high profile people that want to be doing anything but the show. "

Maybe the show runner feels this and is trying to wrap this shyt up like Thrones. Regardless the idea that everyone is just so happy to be on these prestige shows or shows in general is false.

You're fine with the shytty ass writing like, "I'm going to be a dad!?!" I think a majority of the audience enjoyed S1-S5 of Game of Thrones because it followed the source material which was great. The changes the show made during those seasons were good too for the most part. S6 and S7 of GOT makes me wary of anything HBO puts out using their own creative license. House of Dragon S2 was straight ass too.

TBH, those lines are few and far between. Bella and Isabella Merced are acting their asses off.... so I'm not sure why I'd want to nitpick a few lines here and there when 90% of the writing has been great and well acted.

Well, it's Neil's Baby, but we are talking about Craig Mazin. The guy who did clawed himself back to relevancy with Chernobyl and actually runs the show.

I guess eventually Craig will handoff the show runner duty to Neil in it's entirety.

The only thing that kind of bothered me was that with all the meticulous planning Dina did, how did she not have even one extra clip? We can assume they were in her backpack but that’s just as stupid.
