They did a good job of using faceless characters in the game (Eugene and Kat) as plot devices

Nitpicking shyt

They could've kept the extra line "You took it from everyone" That's kinda spoon feeding the audience that Joel doomed the world. It just wasn't needed and it makes Ellie sound as if she was trying to save the world.

And they left out Joel's final line, "I'd like that"

In the game I was barely holding it together thru that scene but that shyt broke me

As immature as the gaming audience is, they certainly treated them as if they have more intelligence than a TV audience.

everybody is actin their ass off. I don't care if they're not like they are in the game...i'd rather have good acting over resemblance. It pays off in episodes like this. The season finale is gonna be intense.

Pretty sure most people have been talkin' about Pedro's amazing acting and what he does to uplift everyone else around him. I wouldn't expect yo goofy ass to catch the nuances of the conversations being had in here though where people can admit the show has faults, but it still has moments, and it's still entertaining overall

I’m on Joel’s side with that Eugene shyt. Ellie was wildin telling the truth to Gail. What was the point? Joel at least tried to comfort her.

They have rules and Ellie wants to change them on her first patrol? Get this backtalkin bish off my tv screen?

fukk all that. Everybody lies in these places. Everyone games the system. Joel’s allowed to break the rules for someone he loves but everyone else has to stay in line?

I was thinking Maisie Williams or Sadie Sink could've been a good Ellie. Maisie probably aged out of the role though for S1, but she'd be perfect for S2 Ellie.

HBO loves to keep it in-house, I do feel like they had to at least consider Maisie. That would’ve been a fire S2 pick. Her and Sadie both work as hard asses and would’ve probably been more believable to audiences with their track records in those roles
