I liked all the changes they did to the flashbacks of the game, the Eugene stuff being the final trigger for Ellie -who never grew the courage to ask Joel about Salt Lake until her final convo with him- works better than what they did in TLOU II. It also gives Joel a reason to convince himself that Ellie is pissed at him because of Eugene and continue his misery/dread of getting caught on his lie.

Joel finally telling her she loves her...that shyt was in the game the grumpy fukk never musters the courage to tell her that to her face

Ellie coming back to the Theater was the only wack part of the whole ep and it only lasted like 5 seconds

I was expecting a fukked up Ellie to return, not a clean looking one. She does a lot of fukked up shyt prior to going back there.
