don't be surprised if Smack drops a battle or a trailer for SM5 this weekend to be petty since KOTD is doing WD5
Well there are a lot of reasons whether you want to admit it or not.... I'd just rather see Math the battler rapper right now than Rex the battle rapper. Unfortunately this is a business deal, and y'all heard what Tay Roc said to Math in his freestyle "Y'all ain't selling tickets, that's why Smack, ain't booking nyggas"
Rex is a bigger name than Math.
Rex brought a small card headliner battle over to URL for free (vs Danny Myers), so they locked him in for SM5 back then.
Meanwhile Math lost money for URL his last time up there, really if you pay attention he doesn't do anything to help anyone get a leg up besides himself.
Math tried to get the Tsu Surf battle going, but struck out. He wants a big name, he might not have even been willing to take Top after Top lost to Suge. He was open to taking Goodz just to get on the card, but the fan demand for that battle isn't there. He tried to bait Ice after he knew the Surf battle wasn't going to happen, but it looks like it's Ice v Suge.
Math is just stuck on getting his way, and will undercut damn near anyone and anything to get it. He could just wash up one of these young guys THEN take a big battle on URL, but it doesn't seem like he's willing to do that.
Serious question.
Has anybody ever taken a battle on a big KOTD card, lost badly and their phone stopped ringing?
If that never happens, then there's no way KOTD can claim to be the number one league. Outside of maybe 100 Bulletz, is there ANYONE on that World Domination 5 card whose career would seriously be affected by a bad loss?

He's definitely going to invade Ice's space, but I doubt it. Ice is going to be up there coked up, screaming on Suge. Suge better not choke. This will be the test to see if he really belongs in the top 5.

He can lose and jump right on a big URL card right afterwards if his prices aren't outrageous. Low key, no one keeps track of Shotty's wins and losses, his fanbase is at a point where it doesn't matter anymore. At his best, he has a level of talent & showmanship that can impress any crowd of rap fans anywhere.
URL battles actually affect your career and 95% of the battles on the other leagues don't. It doesn't take a dikkrider to see that. I think you're just one of those types that likes to agitate people on the internet, so you'd say some against the grain shyt in hopes of getting someone upset. Nah I'm good. Enjoy WD5 my man. I'm sure some of those battles will be dope. After thinking about it, if Illmac finds away to lose to Pat Stay, that's a major setback. But his phone won't stop ringing. He's still gotta see Shotty at some point.
Loe Pesci really got shafted by Ganik and them, you'd think they'd have stuck up for him. But yeah he did face career ending embarrassment so that's a good pick. I'd say Dirtbag Dan won't be taken serious ever again after his loss to Clips. But those were both like 2 years ago, that's about it from what I see.
As far as Wavy goes, I told y'all Wavy would be on SM5, seemed like a no-brainer to me.
