Loe Pesci really got shafted by Ganik and them, you'd think they'd have stuck up for him. But yeah he did face career ending embarrassment so that's a good pick. I'd say Dirtbag Dan won't be taken serious ever again after his loss to Clips. But those were both like 2 years ago, that's about it from what I see.

As far as Wavy goes, I told y'all Wavy would be on SM5, seemed like a no-brainer to me.

I could list off the names from each SM card and show you how you're wrong. But I wouldn't waste my time. Verb would have been THE most questionable SM5 pick and he's not on it. I already made a case for Rex, even though I don't want to see him right now.
URL is the biggest stage, and it's not really close.
Gjonaj prices went up considerably after people HEARD he did really well in his URL PG. Dizaster wanted to battle him instead of Chilla, Gjonaj turned it down. And them KOTD dudes were front row and center for his battle vs Born, they KNOW they need him :russ:
Do you think he would have gotten this type of buzz over on KOTD West battling dudes like P-Nut, Deadman & Psychosis?

KOTD was trying to have Carter Deems :mjlol: headline a card, dude got so hyped he started hyperventilating and had to cancel the battle.

fukk that. nikkas let URL dictate way too much of how battle should be. Thats the only reason why it affects nikkas careers. So much weight is placed on that league. Other leagues drop classics and do shyt that URL would never do. Facts. With that said, KOTD, Don't Flop, and RBE are just a few leagues trying to do other shyt URL won't ever do.

Nothing to be mad about really, everyone has a choice. You can watch whatever you want. KOTD has a forum full of fans, RMBVA has a lot of dudes who can drop knowledge on KOTD & old GT battles. This is where fans who prefer URL style battles gravitate to.
Ultimately the fans get to choose what they want, the battlers ARE choosing which battles to take seriously and which ones are just for a check. It seems like some of the URL mainstays give significant discounts when they get the calls from the smaller leagues to battle, so it works both ways. But at the end of the day, it's Battle RAP. The people who look and sound like they are more in-tune with hip-hop culture will naturally be more popular, and be seen as more important.

I'm not mad at all, I just honestly just feel like..........fukk all that. LOL. RMBVA keeps up with everything. And I don't think everyone just wants URL Smack on here. Just good battles period really. And muthafukkas really act like SMACK URL don't be fukkin up. I've been saying it for years; I still like them and will watch their battles. But they are not the perfect league and sometimes they don't live up to their name. That's why Don't Flop and KOTD pick up the slack when they lose (they're not perfect either but you can't front on the work ethic they both put in to expand). Is SMACK URL the most known and so-called "most respected"? Yes. But that's because the battle rappers say shyt like that all the time and it got into the fans heads. Then you got some of these some muthafukkas takin battles at other leagues and half ass tryin for a check. And that ruins these dudes when they battle.

"It don't count unless its on SMACK" <-------- that sounds like a shytload of excuses to me when these dudes say shyt like that. And when they get on SMACK URL, they all of a sudden give the performance of a lifetime? :camby:

People criticize Smack URL all the time on this board. But most of us are aware of the position Smack URL holds and we respect it. Seems like you're mad about that. There's really not much I can do (or would care to do) to make you less mad about Smack URL being the number one league.
