if I want to connect an internal hard drive to my pc without having to open the pc is there an option besides an enclosure?

I want some files off my old drives but to get to the SATA connectors I would have to take out my current drives which I dont want to do

they have cables that are basically the same thing as an enclosure

I got one of those. Pulled it outta my laptop and put it in my gaming pc. for some reason the PNY 480GB wouldn't work in the gaming PC

I finally made something work but after reinstalling Windows 10 I no longer need the extra storage.

I don't think this thread needs to be managed outside of holiday/exceptional deals. Its pretty civil in here being honest.

If there is truly a need @daze23 is a better fit than myself.

I can vouch for the Enthoo case. Got the Luxe(doesn't even light up ) but the case is great. Crazy good airfloor and lots of places to put fans. shyt looks clean as fukk.

It's the Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7

$219 on newegg no tax or shipping (shopping with newegg as a new yorker is just ).
that's typically way more than im comfortable droppin on a board but they threw in an 8gb no frills ddr4 ram stick which effectively made it $170

Gonna pull the trigger either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. considering the color, would you cop the black enthoo pro or white?

sounds like you might be running out of memory, or having HDD streaming issues. maybe try defraging the drive you have the game installed on

It sounds like your hard drive is the culprit here.
