they kept it too simple. same ring ropes/same everything. and they barely had any belts.

they shouldve had an intercontinental tag team title. that wouldve been dope.

vince hated the idea of a TV title but he eventually brought in a european title during the attitude era. who wouldve held it during the federation years?

Guys like Rude, Honky Tonk Man, Macho Man and Piper would have held the TV Title. Hogan and Warrior wouldn't have touched that belt. Jake The Snake would have been either/or

See I think if anything the late 90s and 2000's were too convoluted with too many titles and it kinda devalued titles along with hot potato'ing some.

Sometimes you can just have well written feuds and grudge matches

One tag team belt is enough. Any more than that is pointless.

Definitely agree though that a TV title is necessary for low to mid-card guys. One thing TNA got right during the Hogan run was having the TV belt defended every week. If the WWE adds a TV title, it should institute that rule.

nah. its moreso the wwf not working well with alot of belts. probably because theyre not the sporty type.

no other promotions ever had these problems.

Nah on the tag belts. Anytime a promotion has a secondary tag team belt, it ends up in the bushes eventually. Cause unless you got like 40 tag teams, why have two divisions inside of whats already a division itself?

They prob could've had a third-tier belt at some point. It would've been a way to give somethin' to some of the guys who were over but you weren't gonna touch the WWF title or the I-C. People like Hacksaw, JYD, (later) Valentine, Bossman, etc could got that and been seen as titleholders as well.

2 tag belts? Do you need 2 belts for just 1 division? I dunno.

I wouldn't have been wholly against a lower tier belt but then I feel like it devalues the ic belt. back then the ic belt REALLY meant something.

Plus i'm not sure if the lower card guys need to be dubbed "champions". Kinda defeats the purpose no?

Only company that handles alot of belts well is New Japan and it's mostly in ring based.
