i mean i dont follow college fb but every site giving us a B in the draft so reggie must know something to pick these players. I notice too hed going after players from good programs who still have a lot of untapped potential.

I think the Mario Edwards Jr pick is gonna be the deciding factor on the final draft grade a couple years from now.
"The Raiders have intimate knowledge of Edwards. New Oakland linebackers coach Sal Sunseri was the defensive ends coach at Florida State. Clearly, Sunseri vouched for Edwards. That makes me feel more comfortable with the pick. Sunseri wouldn’t put his reputation on the line if he didn’t think Edwards would pan out at this level."

from the shyt is been reading the main knock against him was his weight but he has potential to be good if he controls his weight. he trained with a health and performance company called Exos (the current Raiders strength and condition coach used to work there) to grey his weight under control, plus the Raiders got that "cutting edge" conditioning. i think he'll be okay.

CBS Sports gave us a "C". I agree with Prisco's assessment of our draft.

If Cooper and Walford reach their potential the rest doesn't matter.

dont know how true but heard FSU wanted him to gain that weight. He naturally 280 and raiders gonna keep him at that weight and read somewhere if he came out last yr woulda been a first rounder.

"You won't find him projected high and he might have mediocre grades from some draft sites, but plenty of evaluators I trust believe he's a legit first-round talent. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if this kid ends up going somewhere in the teens, depending on the first 10 picks.

Execs I know who've studied Edwards are very impressed with his athleticism. They project a pass rush at the next level, making him potentially much more impactful as a pro than in college, where he was first-team All-ACC in 2014."
