Was supposed to contact my friend at a teacher fair in Los Angeles 2 days ago
- went to the fair by myself
-I was supposed to rendevous with her before
- I quickly left work early to make it on time and everything
- I just walked in ( didn't need to register), talked with hr people and did my networking thing. sent out resumes and cover letters
- I just called her and she got pissed saying would have told me who talk to get an interview on the spot and hung up the phone in anger


really wanted that 70K job

Bruh that’s what teachers who been working for 20 years make here in GA

I know you gotta calculate cost of living but I can find a suburb out there & feast with that salary

nikka you shocked? It gets even worse when in debt as a teacher.

Teachers don't get paid shyt in CA with 70k to start with high cost of living and even worse in AZ they make 33k base....CO teachers usually work a 2nd job and have a roommate.

Imagine making 70k - 78k living in say....SF, Alameda, Hayward where rent is damm near 2k.

nikkas making 70 - 80k living in these places as roommates.

Now imagine having student loans, car payment, credit card debt along with making that salary living in CA.
