Yeah, Robinhood is the GOAT.
Robinhood has such a smooth, easy to understand UI, although I wish they did more to advertise the ability to place limit orders. That's a feature I just happened to stumble on accidentally via a blog and probably would never have known was there otherwise. Still, Robinhood is the perfect tool for young investors who need to learn the ropes as it walks you through a lot of things.
I stared off using Stockpile until I got put onto Robinhood a little while after. I was mad at myself for not doing my researching thoroughly enough beforehand because I jumped right in using, bought a bunch of shares and had to pay a fee each time. However I still maintain my Stockpile portfolio.
That said, despite the fees, Stockpile is great if you're a new investor looking to get a feel for the market. It allowed me to grab fractional shares of companies like Amazon and Google that I couldn't even remotely afford to buy whole. It's a great opportunity for those just looking to test the waters.
