I like Trunks, but once we really got to know dude he became pretty corny. Dude def got his traits from Vegeta tho. Once things got rough, both of the personalities changed quick

Future Trunks grew up in a harsher reality than any of the Z fighters could imagine. He knew what the pain of lose felt like. He didn't want to take any chances. I don't blame him for being extra cautious

Future Gohan and Trunks. I love the fact that Goku and Vegeta's Sons were the last defense for Earth. They just didn't get the trainning they needed once everyone died and with Piccolo death they couldn't use the Dragon Balls to wish people back. To me the storyline really made Dragon Ball Great and is the reason I love the Cell Saga and Android Saga as well as The Red Ribbon Saga so much. It's a deep story. When Trunk first turned Super Saiyan was so Epic in the rain. It's like you didn't think he could follow up the Kid Goku storyline which was great or the Freeza storyline which was epic. Then he dropped this whole storyline and just made the franchise even more Legendary.

Maybe but him and trunks were literally the last saiyans and Trunks couldn't turn Super Saiyan. I think once Gohan's arm got cut off, something happen in the last fight. He did get stronger and bulky, it seems as if he may have almost turn 2nd Level but it didn't happen. He trained by himself and nobody was able to help him. He wasn't even able to get help from the Gods. It was just a terrible situation. The only reason Trunk survived is he went back in time and was able to Train to get to Super Saiyan 2. Remember the androids were programmed to handle Super Saiyan 1 form.

Future Trunks is different from the Trunks that eventually fought Cell. His environment was bleak as fukk, so he had to be a stoic, hardass dude. That's why he was so crud when he battered Frieza and King Cold.
