I can’t believe people were arguing against this? CA been banned smoking in apartments - Public and private - a long time ago. In what world should you be able to smoke inside multi unit housing and/or housing you don’t own, sending that shyt into multiple other units, affecting other people?

and like others said, smokers should go outside to keep their kids away from the smoke (and the place smelling better). My mom always smoked outside and I make my tenants smoke outside

Good. If you don’t like it, move somewhere else or smoke outside. The government has always implemented rules on property that it owns. If you can’t handle this rule, you probably need to go to rehab.
