If you playing somebody who runs a zone, just run the 2/3 offensive set and play your best player at center, regardless of position. Theyll spot up at the ft line for easy midrange jumper or easy access to slash to the hoop

I played like 40 games last year and never saw zone
Its been used against me twice this year out of 24 games. Its very rare.

Because it takes the defense way too long to get back
It's one thing to speed up court if the other team is trying to press you, that's realistic. but speeding down court off of a made shot is not realistic.
