Just for teams I root for:

Rangers: Losing 2015 ECF vs the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 at MSG after witout losing a Game 7 at MSG previously and being the defending Eastern Conference Champion

Bills: 96 Wild Card game vs the Jaguars, Jim Kelly last game and end of the run for the 90s Bills imo, sure they made the playoffs in 98 and 99, but 96 was their last chance to win a Super Bowl.

Nets: I would say losing Game 6 in ECSF to the Pistons, I think if Nets win that series, they go the Finals for the 3rd straight year and with the Lakers with their issues, Nets might have had a chance.

Yankees: 2004 ALCS, enough said

Man UTD wasn't technically at home.
But when they lost to Man City in 2012 on goal difference because of that 6-1 defeat

Last game at Veterans Stadium with a trip to go to the Super Bowl on the line :mjcry:
And the Bucs were like 0-everything with the windchill under 21 degrees or some shyt..Iirc we were heavily favored & everybody had us vs the Raiders in the Super Bowl that year
I'm sure my fellow Eagles brehs can vouch @wire28 @Asantehene @gangreen @Leasy @Future Hendrix

1999 AFC championship Titans defeated a 14-2 loaded Jags squad. One loss literally killed a franchise.

shyt bro I mean I know the history and all cuz I'm a diehard Birds fan but I was too young at the time which is probably for the better. I'm only 19. I can only imagine how many years would have been taken off my life if I had to watch this team be one game away from the Super Bowl 3 years in a row. I remember crying my eyes out after we lost to the Pats in 04-05 though.
