It is the food, pesticide, herbicide, insecticide, fungicide laden modern food, which is really poison. GMO is another issue.

Babies are being born primarily through c sections not vaginal as it was designed.

Ultra sterile modern environments, we need exposure to dirt to get the good probiotics. Search leaky gut.

Ubiquity of plastics is another culprit.

Pollution of course; tailpipe exhausts from cars alone produce close to 80 pollutants such NOx, VOC's, particulate matter. ozone depletion.

As a matter of fact there's a sizeable enough movement for VBAC (vaginal birth after ceseatran) since c sections have advanced, that used to be impossible.

A lot of it is diet BUT let's not pretend allergies is a new concept as many allergies are genetic and handed down.

It's just one of those things that started getting much more attention heading into the 21st century. Medical field-wise, anyway.

Also, many modern day allergy meds are trash because they don't cross the blood brain barrier. The ones that do make you sleepy and impair you. This is a field that, intentionally or no, is having one hard time reaching perfection.
