within israel the two main categories of jews are ashkenazi and sephardic. ashkenazi are the european jewish group americans normally associate jews with. sephardic are jews from portugal and spain who were expelled there during the inquisition and mainly went to north africa. theres also arab jewish groups in israel. ashkenazi are generally richer than the other groups and control more of the countries shyt.
there are ethiopian jews in israel too. the israeli government has been far more enthusiastic about white jews immigrating to israel than black ones.
