Why is Stars Battlefront getting a pass on the Coli?

I'm looking forward to playing Star Wars Battlefront but I'm confused as to why it's getting a pass for not having a single player campaign while Titanfall gets butchered on here left and right for not having a single player campaign. Mind you, the multiplayer on Titanfall is crazy. I've said it before, and I think I've shown that I don't do the console wars crap. I'm a game fan, not a console fan, but this seems to be a case where it's ok for a game to be multiplayer only if it's on PS4 but if it's on Xbox1 then it's unacceptable.

Titan fall got stale after couple of weeks playing. Cannot give battlefront a pass until i play it first.

Star Wars Battlefront is a series that's been established as a multiplayer only game.

At the same time, the series has a single player component that's much stronger than Titanfall's MP Campaign. The challenge mode/galactic conquest in BF1/2 are very, very good and the fact that it's returning for the re-release is fine.

Exactly. The story is great too. I'm a huge Star Wars fan. But I'm a keep it 100 with you. The battlefront series was fun...but it's not something I was begging for either. I'm definitely looking forward to it...but this isn't going to get more burn than the other games I'm on and it certainly won't be talked about in 2016

I don't think a multiplayer-only shooter should cater to an audience that wants a single player component when the game is designed to be played with people. That's one of the reasons why UT3 is fukking garbage.

I thought Titanfall was amazing, really. But it lacked content.

The reason Titanfall got blasted was because of its lack of content at launch.

The entire package of what is out now is what should have been the standard release.

It's a really fun game and I am about to hop on it now
