Will Smith hit back at claims that there is a lack of diversity in the film industry, last night.

Speaking at the Focus premiere in London, the actor hit back at claims and said: "I didn't even think about that really, I can't say I feel negatively about it. I don't really think that it's too much of a problem."


And when asked what he thought of Oprah Winfrey's film Selma - which has received a number of poor reviews - being snubbed at this year's award ceremonies, the 46-year-old said: "Really, my brain doesn't even work like that.

"In terms of what's snubbed and what's not snubbed, people vote for the movies that they want to vote for and they have that right."

I don't care. I was simply pointing out an obvious barrier in hollywood. A lot of black movies should probably be higher in statue than they are but because they only relate to black folks, they don't break that glass ceiling. On the other hand successful white movies are put on this royalty pedestal above everything. Then you have those who don't get an acting role because they are black. So Will can't sit here and give us that garbage. Especially after he just said we need to fix the black community.

Those who dap dance for whites exhibit slavery behaviors & they are acting out white superiority to the masses.

How blacks overrepresented in Hollywood/American media, 90 percent of the media is white, and blacks are only 10 percent of the population
which I do not believe that anyway, but that's another subject

first off how do you know how many Mexicans their are, they lump all Hispanics into one group that's why their numbers are large percentage wise

Also Hispanics are accepted as white they are part of the machine

they never give films designed for a black audience good reviews because they aren't black

look at all Eddie Murphy's classics on rotten tomatoes, they all have bad scores, but they were all successful films

at the end of day if we just stop giving a fukk about white people's opinions, this wouldn't be a problem
