J. Cole - 4 Your Eyez Only

Alright lyrically, but not very entertaining. I understand the artistic expression Cole was going for, but it's just not entertaining, boring music, with a good message, too bad the shyt is boring. 3/5 stars seem fair for this boring album. Cole needs to go back to the Forest Hill Drive album concept and leave this type of shyt for mixtapes.

Might be his weakest official album. Still a fan.

Underwhelming, average, and uninspired

Cool concept, but theres only 4 songs on the album I'll revisit again, some of the songs are way too lethargic.

It's a 3.5/5 for me....cole's subject matter hasnt changed from the usual. His beats on this is even more somber than usual and kinda depressing. He the king of intro's tho and its actually one of the few stand out tracks on the album.

Album seems uninspired and doesn't have the energy like FHD. However, still not a terrible effort, but also not a great one either, average at best. Final rating 3.5/5 or 7.5/10
