Alota nikkas on here did act as if GS never won a title before KD and that they didn't eliminate him en route to another Finals. Which was always some of the dumbest shyt ever...

Took them three years to regroup and reload but them being able to retool abd resurface as a contender is worthy enough of praise. Neither of their three core guys (Steph, Klay, Dray) are what they were 3 years ago, and Iggy in his Haslem role now; all of them have lost a step or few. So shout to these old nikkas for gearing up for a last gasp at a title run, it's commendable...

This Warriors team reminds me of the Comeback Spurs who after losing the WCF in '08, took 4 years to get back that far and were a somewhat different team when they became elite again. The '22 Dubs are akin to the '12 Spurs in this regard...

That said, they have benefitted from luck of the draw so far. They should be a decisive underdog vs whoever comes out East if they get there, as it stands now those three remaining teams are whole (Middleton will certainly be back by The Finals if Mke gets there) and extremely physical and tenacious on defense---->those two traits bothered the Comeback Warriors vs Memphis, who has nowhere near the experience or cohesion that the three East teams have, so it'll definitely bother The Dubs in a Finals...

The WCF gonna be a pick'em, clearly Phx ain't as dominant as their regular season showed, they struggled to put away a team they had a 30-win advantage over first, and now struggling with a flawed Mavs. Conversely, Mavs have showed more resolve than I thought they had but they are sus defensively and close to one-dimensional offensively...

The Warriors own flaws make it so that the WCF can go either way, this certainly ain't the Warriors of a few years ago. But it's cool seeing The Dubs make one more run for the title, in the vein of the Comeback Spurs I'd say the Comeback Warriors may have two more years of being competitive with the core because a)Poole, Kuminga will continue to grow and their roles will expand with the team, and b)two more years is about all you're gonna get from these older dudes. Dray and Klay are very clearly not what they once were, the consistency especially ain't there with Klay, and Curry's second half to present has shown that while still elite he's obviously slowing down...

Steph 34 and Y13, Klay (Y11) and Dray (Y10) 32. In '12 Duncan was 36/Y15, Parker was 30/Y11, Manu 34/Y10. This Warriors iteration has this year and another two years before the OG core starts retiring or playing Iggy's role and this fully becoming Poole's team. Enjoy the rest of the ride we have left, I can always appreciate old heads rising for one last run at championship glory!

They just struggled to beat a team full of role players. While Warriors have 4 current and former all stars.

Not a huge accomplishment. The 3 remaining teams gonna run through whoever comes out the west

No. 2 seed in the West

The Grizzlies were the No. 2 team in the West and Klay is coming off two seasons worth of major injuries. Draymond been out too and yeah you're buggin if you discount his importance to that team.

Not to mention, the Grizzlies won plenty of games without Ja

nikkas really need to stop hating on the Warriors, that's what it comes down to

Rise up!
Who did Kd beat this year? :mjlit:
Who did Steph beat last year? Year before? :mjlit:
Corny fakkit. He beat a depleted Cavs team in 2015 while losing the FMVP to Iggy who averaged like 12 ppg :mjlol: and begged KD after embarrassing himself the next year when they were fully healthy. Then when KD went down and left he hasn’t sniffed the playoffs til this year :umad:

Then you’re doing a victory lap for him beating Jokic and bums and then beating a young Memphis team without their star after four games :mjlol:
I see you snuck Dallass in there. Running from the grind wanting to face a healthy WCF champs from last year :mjpls:

ya done jinxed the Dubs now :mjlit:
Nah breh

Even if the Warriors do lose in one of the next two rounds, they have still proved that they are title contenders without KD. MFs on this site were taking a victory-lap, prematurely celebrating the Warriors’ demise, not putting into context that they suffered injuries these past two years and attributed their lack of success due to KD leaving.

Before the playoffs, the trio of Klay, Steph, and Draymond only played 11 minutes together since the 19’ Finals, and now that they are back together, they are 4 wins away from making it back to the Finals, and its glorious bc it makes you nikkas furious

Memphis was 21-6 without Ja and we were missing our headcoach and best wing defender

Act like the series wasnt 2-1 when Ja was playing brehs

with a healthy ja and steven adams memphis wins

it doesn't even matter becasue even if warriors get by the suns or mavs, I don't see them beating celtics, bucks or heat
