A golden opportunity was taken from Jeff Hardy last week after he was detained at the scene of a hit-and-run accident that left Elias injured in the WWE Performance Center parking lot and resulted in his removal from the Intercontinental Championship Tournament. The Charismatic Enigma reemerged that night, however, to spoil Sheamus’ return into the field and attack The Celtic Warrior. Now, Hardy is ready to tell his side of the story after last week’s shocking developments.

The current champions will face the original champions as Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross square off with Bayley & Sasha Banks for the Women’s Tag Team Championships on Friday night. Are we about to be graced with the debut of “Bayley Two Belts,” or can Bliss & Cross prove that they’re WWE’s top tandem?

Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles took very different paths to the Intercontinental Championship Tournament Finals, but they are the last two competitors remaining in what was an extremely impressive field. Will the two decorated competitors stay civil, or will the allure of championship gold set the stage for a more brutal title showdown?

After The Monster Among Men continued his dominance over the self-proclaimed “Greatest Tag Team of the 21st Century,” Miz & Morrison promised to make Strowman’s “life a living hell” before their upcoming showdown. Does that promise come with a plan, or are the two renaissance men of WWE simply inviting the wrath of the Universal Champion?

Elias is in the hospital and has suffered broken ribs and a torn pectoral muscle after a hit-and-run attack. After initially being apprehended, Jeff Hardy was released from custody by the Orlando police after successfully passing the required sobriety tests. Hardy was absolved of the charges of public intoxication, driving under the influence, and the hit-and-run on Elias.
