Alright brehs my moms helping me buy a new car because I'm giving my car to my sister who isn't doing too well financially. These are the two cars I really want, so don't bother mentioning anything else. Also I know this is the Coli, but can we please give intelligent serious responses only?

So the Civic Si comes with 197 horsepower 2.0l 4 cylinder engine
mpg 21 city/29 highway manual only.

I find the 8th gen accord sedans to be huge and ugly, my mom has one and I hate it, the coupes are sexy though. Comes in either a 4 or 6 cylinder
The 4 cylinder comes with 190 horsepower 2.4l 4 cylinder engine 22city/31highway, the v6 comes 3.5l with 271 horsepower 19/28 mpg I heard the 6 cylinder with manual transmission is hard to find when buying used so I'll settle for the automatic.

I'd be happy with either car but right now I'm leaning towards the v6 accord coupe, so whats your opinion brehs?

Sedan :hula: Coupe
Better gas mileage :hula: More power
Civic :hula: Accord

Thats really what it boils down to, one really isn't better than the other since they're in two different classes. Personally I'd go w/ a stock civic instead of the si, I dont need the wing, the wheels and extra hp if it comes with any, if its at a higher price than a reg. civic. The civic will come off more as a teenish car where as the accord will seem more mature. Don't know if that matters to you, but you may feel that your'e to old for the civic in a year or 2 an might wanna upgrade, you could skip that now and just get the accord. :yeshrug:

Nah man the regular civics are too slow, 140 horsepower, I need something fast, but your right about the growing up thing, I'm 20 now but maybe in 2 years ill grow out of it, my friend has one and said the exhaust gets annoying after a month cause its too loud. Maybe ill get the accord, need the v6 though the 4 cyl is too slow

I remember reading the V6 Accord actually ended up getting same or better gas mileage than the 4 cylinder Accord in real world mileage reports. I like the SI though but would still lean toward the V6 Coupe.

You could wait and get a 2013 Ford Focus ST.
It has more HP and torque than a 08-09 Civic Si and almost as much power as the Accord and is way lighter.

Civic is 6.8 secs 0-60 and the accord is 5.9 that one second ain't shyt especially on the street, you rather spend more to buy the car plus more on gas for 1 sec?
