Cody being taken to the limit every week by unsigned Indy talent that look like they should be working at a Gamestop is not a good look. It ends up making Cody look like a clown. And then when he's in a real feud, he goes over. It makes the guys on the AEW roster that Cody does wrestle look completely stupid and on par with the Gamestop employees he wrestles every week.

Drop the title to Pac, Hangman, Darby or Sammy.

I Like The Open Challenge Concept But I Agree All These Matches Shouldn’t Be These Long Hard Fought Battles

Other than Kenny, Cody is their best in-ring singles guy right now and him having the TV belt for a while is good. Drop it down the line and make Hangman or MJF or somebody else. I agree that not every match should be close and hard fought though, and that goes for a lot of AEWs top guys.
