The key thing is Josh asked "have YOU ever seen anything like that" and Taz responded appropriately that HE never seen that done other than Taker. I think thats fair since neither of them were there LIVE when Elix did it, not like they trynna bury the company or not acknowledge the history.

You're caping too much. They just did a 'TNA's Greatest Moments' thing and had basically nothing before 2010.

Josh knows the business. And Tazz has been on commentary for 5 years. I wasn't there live when Elix did it either, but it was immediately the first thing that came to mind when it happened. And they don't pay me.

i dont remember if they had a feud or not. but i know their match was something like a big deal to the point where im wondering if it was a small feud.

especially with tazz, seeing that most of his road dawgs were being highlighted in TNA from jump. they even had a ecw crew as far back as '03.

and josh matthews mentioned ROH in one of the aries/low ki matches.

and if they truly have no clue about basic stuff concerning tna's history, then they shouldnt be on. removing mike tenay from the booth was the worst idea possible. even if they wanted to move him from PBP, he could played the wingman like he did in wcw. thats where he excels anyway.
