Takashi Miura (30-3-2, 23 KOs) vs. Miguel Roman (56-11-0, 43 KOs)

A war between Mexicans is expected on January 28 in Indio, California, when Francisco "Bandido" Vargas puts on the line his World Boxing Council super featherweight title against Miguel Berchelt.

Francisco (23-0-2, 17 KO), who starred in fight of the year in 2015 where he dethroned the then champion Japan's Takashi Miura, then fought a draw with Orlando Salido.

"Alacrán" Berchelt (30-1, 27 KO), his rival, assured that this is exactly the opportunity he has been waiting for, vowing: "I will shake the boxing world on January 28th."

On that same card, there will be another explosive match involving super-featherweight warriors , with Mexican Miguel "Micky" Roman (56-11, 43 KO) and Japanese Takashi Miura (30-3-2, 23), who could be contesting for opportunity to Challenge the winner of Vargas Vs., Bercehlt.

Those are the plans of Oscar de la Hoya. Miura wants to recover the title so he must defeat Román, who only has a single goal on his mind...to be world champion.

De la Hoya said that fans love knockouts, "These four fighters have 110 percent dynamite between them."
