Seeing all the people in LIJ merch and hearing the reaction when he comes out, you can't really argue against Naito being ready.

I understand Gedo betting the house on Okada though - dude is young, puts on great matches and seems to be largely injury free (think of how many people at the top of the card in WWE have been off TV this year, and Okada probably doesn't have as much mileage as they do) so I get why they depend on him.

The fall of Naito "The Stardust Genius" is always interesting to look back on especially on the fact that the fans and NJPW left that man for dead. Watching this video a couple a dozen times makes me root for Naito over Okada because Naito deserves the win after surviving and successfully rebuilding himself from the ground up.
