politicians and lobbyists have been put on notice.

when all of this shakes out there will be a cooling off period for sure.
however, i hope that the IC is going to make this a permanent priority.
i also hope that it extends into corporate donations....but corporations are people and money is free speech.

Honestly, I don't think so. Republicans learned nothing having Bush's dumbass elected. Even if Trump fukks up bad enough to get primaried and lose the nomination, they'll keep rolling with Kasich or Ryan or whoever like it's nothing doing.

Ummm didn't the Supreme Court rule some 3-5 years ago that for campaign finance corporations are deemed people and came donate as much money as they want? Plus dark money being allowed in political campaigns? See that shyt was a slight and goal post moving because Obama became president and did it the right way by the book and these cacs was mad.. now look what they got.. Trump while Putin calling the shots
