Anyone pushing a one series i am thinking about leasing one becuase i work for MINI/BMW and the warrranty is up on my b7 a4. it would be a base 128 with heated seats and that is about it. my boss talked me out of a base 135 but im very tempted to do this three year lease

Does the 128i have that new turbo-4 engine or is it the inline-6? If it's the I6 I'd skip it and seriously consider the 135i.

13 is a inline 6..... whats the reason for skipping though based on that:dwillhuh:

Well the new Turbocharged 4 is just a hell of an engine. I drive a 2011 335i and I took my car for service a few weeks ago. They gave me a 2013 328i (with the new turbo-4) and I was thoroughly impressed; so much so that I didn't miss my car at all. It was zippy, responsive, had great torque. The 328's I'd driven before (with the I6) always felt lethargic, very "rental-car" ish. I don't think I'd be happy driving it, but if you don't really drive fast or spiritedly, you might not mind.

With the 135 I think you'd have a blast. Gets good gas mileage too.

It's quite a bit lighter so you might like it.

But if you can afford the 135, it's a no-brainer.

hopefully when i drive it im like:leon: i would love to save teh money of going with a 128 instead of a 135 but if im not getting the power i want i will go with the 135 becuase i settled on my last car with getting an a4 instead of an s4

You can also save a grip by buying used.

Edit: But you probably get ridiculous lease rates.

ya its ridiculous. Im trying to get out my a4 because the warranty is up and im not about to be :deadmanny: when i get repair bills. so need to take advantage of these rates with no money down for me.

and some may say im pouring jelly on myself leasing this time but w.e:rudy:

Get a Hyundai Genesis coupe. It is cheaper and has turbo 2.0L engine. It doesn't have the BMW image but drives more sportier if you are about that.

Get the 135 if you're going to get a 1-series. It's worth the extra money.

On a side note, yeah the turbo 4 is badass. I like it better than the 6 cylinder as well. I wouldn't get a 335 in the F30. Doesn't seem like its worth it. A 6-speed 328 Sport would be nice.

depends on the whether where you live...

I like the 1er

interiors are kind of meh on bmw's to me

if you can get a lease for 150-250 why not

the 4 cylinder turbo is supposed to be nice as well if you can get a new one.

If money is not too big of a thing for you i'd try and track down someone who's willing to part with their 1M.

Everyone that I have talked to that owns one is like :whew:

What engine is that anyways?

N54

I'm not entirely sure on the ecu programming but Im told it is similar to a tuned 335i in a smaller m inspired body. Meaning you get the handling of an m car but u get the hp of a tuned 335 without the reliability issues (so they say). Would love to drive one but they're so limited I doubt ill get the chance
