Pillman is basically what Dean Ambrose would be if the overrated delusions of his stans were actually true. Top 5 to never hold a world title :mjcry:

He was clever as fukk on the mic, and legit seemed like a threat. I was really hoping he teamed with Austin in early 97...they had one of the hottest rivalries before he passed.

Pillman shytted all over flair and goldust during their respective fueds

He reached his ceiling. Segments would've been dope. Ahead of his time :sadcam:

Heard Bischoff talking about Pillman on his podcast a few weeks ago. He mentioned about how the "I respect you Bookerman" was a work that only he and Pillman knew about, and the plan was that Pillman really gets fired, to go to ECW to refine the Loose Cannon character (which he did) and then come back to WCW, but instead he went and signed with WWF.

Bischoff said something like, "i'm still not sure if he was working me the whole time to get to WWF, or if I was in on the work against the WWF and just didn't know it yet" :mjlol:

I disagree....i think the way attitude era was going, especially after bret left, he had a bright future still. He would've spun out of that goldust fued into a program/blood fued over the title vs. austin.

Assuming HHH didnt try to have him buried.

I think his ceiling was where Chris Jericho was to be honest.

He damn sure earned his moniker. I remember watching the Pillman 9mm angle as Austin beat down his boys and thinking to myself, I hope Pillman didn't pay them dudes to protect him. Pillman had that intensity in his eyes and he made me believe Austin was about to catch two to the chest.
