I don't see one. When I typed it in online during a transaction it took it without a pin.
Do you have GCU?
Did you receive a coupon after having spent X amount of $ ?
Because if you did, you are the only one that can use that.
I get $5 gift cards all the time but they are applied directly to my account and they don't give me a pin number.

I just have a basic rewards account. I never shop at Best Buy so I'm not sure how it works but for my birthday I went there and bought a soundbar and Logitech remote so they emailed me a 10 dollar certificate.
That's weird that you don't see a pin. I received one through email recently and it had a pin at the bottom. When I used it in store, they even told me they needed the pin to use the card after scanning it directly from my phone.
