I thought people were just jabbing, but when I spent a week in Atlanta I was floored. It's really like that. I didn't even go clubbing or barhop I was on business, but I could still see it. I'd never seen anything like that before in my life, and I'm a Chicago breh.

Breh, when I first came here my c00n mind thought all these dudes were either drug dealers, rappers, or athletes.

Come to find out dudes are jut entrepreneurs. When I first came out here I was leaving the club and saw a ferarir, Bentley, and Aston Martin leaving the club back to back to back. All three black dudes. All three had dimes in the passenger seat.

Let's just say there's a reason there are so many self-employed blacks in most smaller deep south cities.

In southern small towns, cacs are on that old school Paula Deen colonial HEAVY. Most cac owned employers in southern small towns are still loath to hire brehs and brehettes for anything other than minimum wage cashier, fast food, janitorial, CNA, etc jobs to this day.


The black poverty rates in 99 percent of smaller deep south cities will have you , which also contributes to a severe brain drain to places like Atlanta, the DMV, Charlotte, Raleigh, Florida, the big cities in Texas, etc.
