A musician, yes, they could become a millionaire instantly. Actor or restaurant owner? Nah, I think they'd take the money. Being an actor is finnicky work, no matter how well known or liked they are they can struggle to find roles, it depends on what's being developed. Being known kind of helps, but I don't think a celebrity endorsement would do anything for their career.

A restaurant owner can only serve so many people at a restaurant. There's kind of a cap on how much money you can pull in at a restaurant in day, restaurant owners value regulars over clout. Having an instant $100k would help because that money could go towards opening another restaurant.

But without any money you aren't going to have the supply to sell $100k of socks, you probably have $10k worth of socks at any given time. Now your sold out and you're hoping that shout out sustains you long enough for you to fill those orders and restock so you can eventually build your way up to $100k worth of socks.
