Which option are you taking?

Again, $100 mil but you are confined to 1 city the rest of your life, absolutely no exceptions. Cant even step a foot outside city lines. But that city could be Mobile, AL or Manhattan, NY.....your choice.

Or $10 mil, you are free to go and travel wherever

I'd be more happy with the 10 mil and the freedom.

imagine being rich and trapped in NYC. never getting to chill somewhere tropical. Having to go through harsh winters every year, would be kinda lame,
rich enough for a private jet, or a yacht or a helicopter, lambos etc but nowhere really to go except across town.

I live in LA and get tired of it.

That said, $100 mil because the stock market growth can put it to $1 trillion over a single lifetime and I can pass that on to kids and family who’ll go anywhere in the world with it.

That extra zero does so much for compounding and foolproofing. At a trillion dollars and compounding I don’t think anybody can really screw that up.

$100 mil being compounded while in Los Angeles with all my family here would be great. Would be able to fully relax with peace of mind.

Could be happy either way.

I love to travel and can live very comfortably on 10 million for the rest of my life and do everything in life i want to do, but it’s not multi-generational money.

If i take the 100 million i can do a lot in the city of my choosing and set my entire family and some extended up for life. That might mean more to me than simply being able to travel
