I was listening to it on NPR, I couldn't believe there were still survivors alive and they were incredibly eloquent and powerful in describing their experience and lack of justice.

Please don't try to divert to that shyt, White people went just as hard if not harder against Paul Robeson, MLK Jr., Angela Davis, and any other Black person who it could even remotely tied to Socialism in any way, shape, or form. It tried to destroy black countries and leaders if it saw them turning towards socialism.

I believe the people you named were target primarily because their ability to wake, unify and mobilize black people as a group, not their socialist leanings... while black Wall Street established markets that threatened to bring economic power and a strong black middle class.
...white capitalist knew they had to stop black capitalism from spreading within the country.

...this isn’t a pro capitalism take, just a recognition that black capitalism was(and is) feared by white America.

:wow:
All of our oppression is state sponsored and/or enabled... that goes without saying.

Y’all should dislike the state and seek to minimize its ability to oppress as much i do...

I'd rather have the state controlled by my own people than minimize its ability, both are a dream though

Black Power is what was feared, the technique being used is irrelevant to White fears. If Tulsa had been a successful demonstration of Black collective socialist harmony they would have done the exact same shyt.

It's not fear.
They aren't afraid.

It's HATE.
They HATE YOU, they hate anything BLACK and attached to BLACKNESS.

They didn't bomb Black Wallstreet because of jealousy.
It's because they're hateful b*stards.

:gucci: why cant it be all three? Fear, hate and jealousy usually go hand in hand.

They hated us for who we ARE, they were envious of what we had achieved, and were downright terrified of what we could accomplish right here in "THEIR" good ol USA.

As far as they were concerned, we are a herd of released farm animals whom instead of accepting our place as the permanent underclass, were on the brink of building our own American metropolis. These people had parents who literally fought a war to try keep us in shackles. Hell yeah they hated us, Black Wall street was ETHER personified to these devils.
