At what point were people begging for Jey? Seemed like the fans wanted someone else every step of the way

People wanted to see Jey beat Roman in each of their title matches and then people wanted to see him win a singles title.
I genuinely wonder how long do fans want people to hold titles? And how they expect booking to go? Because Danielson was right, wrestling fans are fickle. Soon as LAK wins a world title, he'll get turned on in 2 months.

The only ppl immune are the legends and faces of the company.

In 2020 people barely knew who a Jey Uso was. It was deep into Covid time which may as well be 20 years ago. In 2023 some did want Jey to beat Roman. Of course that was also a 3 year title reign, Sami’s match against Roman was much bigger, and Jey changed his gimmick since then. He’s had numerous terrible performances starting with the match against Roman in 2023. You can hardly call fans fickle when events are years apart. Wrestling’s been about going with who’s hot NOW not going with who’s been hot at some point. Bron should’ve won the title last night
