I was just wondering the other day why nobody ever sought a U-Neek beat. And then I thought why didn't he ever produce for anybody else besides the Bone thug/Mo thug nikkas. Like A$AP with a dope U-Neek beat would be cool. This song sucks by the way tho repetitive as all hell.
Different U-Neek breh. This one is based in Brooklyn.

oh...that explains alot actually.Different U-Neek breh. This one is based in Brooklyn.
why would you choose that name as a producer? next thing you know a new rapper is gonna come out with the name Ice Cube
it's crazy how Bone is just forgotten in hip hop history. it must be because i'm a Bone fan from the start but IMO U-Neek is practically a member of the group. it's like if someone became producer and chose the name DJ Yella, that's probably a better comparison than beforeits a good chance that dude never even heard of dj u-neek, even if he listened to bone.
unless you bought the retail versions of bone albums and read the liner notes, theres a good chance that you dont know who u-neek is if you grew up on the east coast. thats how oblivious the east coast was to everything else in the '90s.
my boy bought his solo album years ago but i never really listened to it, i assume it has some pretty bad MC's on therei think the problem is that u-neek never stepped up and got the spotlight. you really have to be a follower of production credits to know dude, at least up here. hes prolly held in high-regard on the west & midwest.
i never knew exactly what dude looked like until a couple years ago.

i saw somebody going by that name in some old cheap urban flick from the '70s that i saw recently tho.
