I'm surprised Haney is the favorite but Norman is Top Rank, of course Tim was going have this angle

Exactly. Haney's last 2 fights would make me hesitant in thinking he is the favorite in this matchup

On top of that, he's not a great inside fighter, which Norman Jr excels at. Haney struggled on the inside against a 126/130 pounder in Loma. So I'm confused

YOOOOOOO props to Devin man.

Out of everyone he came up with he really tries to make the big fights happen.

Shout out to Dev and his Pops. Norman Sr and Jr both cool too.

Didn't Turki mention something about "Tom and Jerry fights". That's how I see Devin getting a win if he were to win he not walking Norman down and pressuring him to a KO/TKO. Unless he see something he can exploit in norman.

This is a good fight I hope everything goes through up to the fight date.

Also Alalshikh potentially having Vergil, Boots, Bakole, Andy and Zepeda all on the same card would be crazy.
This nikka Haney is a bonafide TRACK STAR.

He should be gearing up for the next Olympics.

Not a fight.

He runs.

He should RUN Noah Lyles.

Haney is in the wrong era, any other era he'd be appreciated more for wanting to fight any & everybody in front of him regardless of what's at stake. Zero bytch in him.
Real talk we are in the bytch made era where dudes grow some weird attachment to their fav fighter and will defend them by any means not caring if they sound crazy. The casuals and hardcores are equally bad these days

This is a hell of a card..all fights do have FOTY candidate potential

Norman Vs Haney - For Haney he is going for his third division title and has a chance to redeem himself somewhat. Norman gets a chance to get a big name on his record and solidify himself as the number 1 welter. Haney is facing a big strong puncher who still has some flaws but can't take lightly. He also knows he can't fight negative either else his draw will take a hit.

Mason vs Noakes - Noakes I know nothing about and have not seen fight but him and Mason are probably around the same level of experience. So i'm taking it as a 2 undefeated young contenders getting a shot at a world title. Still going for Mason to pick up the strap.

Benavidez vs Yarde - I'm not down about this fight like most. Yarde may have come up short on the world title level but he gave both Kovalev and Beterbiev something to think about before he got stopped in hard fights. Hell he was seconds away from stopping Kovalev before he gassed out. Technically he's a mess but he has plenty of power to spare against someone who hasn't looked all that great at 175. Benavidez is coming off a good win over Morrell. He should be able to clear Yarde but I won't be surprised if this fight is harder than expected

Rodriguez vs Martinez - This fight intrigues me more than the others. An elite boxer puncher vs an elite volume puncher. Either Bam breaks down Puma or Puma lays a cumulative beating on Bam...There are no other ways I can see how this fight goes. This shyt is going to be straight up violence :wow:
