Looks like Roaches plan was to rope-a-dope Cruz (without the rope) in the first half of the fight by basically trying to gas him out by staying in the pocket and shelling up.

It worked but he paid the price with the knockdown.

Cruz was gassed until the 11th, where he’s back to normal with 2nd wind

Might be close but leaning towards roach after point deduction

I've been watching the whole fight on mute

Commentators have surprisingly been on Roach's side

I got Roach but it was a tough fight to call. He should have did more to bank those last 2 rounds

Roach should win based off activity but I can see Cruz getting it due to the harder shots when he did land. Roach gave him a boxing lesson though

Roach did pretty good. I got him winning but it was close. Cruz got that last round.
