we grew up on sensual red shoe diaries and the hitchhiker and playboy magazines

these kids are growing up on bondage, choking, drinking piss etc.
I'm not saying you're wrong but weird kids were probably doing sick shyt like this 30/40 years ago, there's just cameras everywhere now.

We really got dudes in here defending a 13 years old sociopath who rapped an elderly women. :francis:

Talking about getting him therapy instead of throwing his lil ass in a prison cell.

Y’all starting to sound like cacs in here.

stop trying so hard to being a stupid authoritarian fukk.

this boy will eventually get out of prison, if you dont reform his behavior now. he will do it again.

particularly after a stint around other psychologically malformed kids

Why would you assume what I'd be for or against just because it doesn't fit what you believe? Get this dapfishing shyt on somewhere.

I'm 100% against life sentences, or anything that essentially amounts to the equivalent of life (such as a 31 to 42 year sentence given to a 15 year old, for a crime when he was 13), for any adolescent. I don't give a fukk what they did, and my conviction in this is unwavered because I was around and housed with all these delinquents like myself. There's no hypothetical scenario that changes my mind on this, I can give you real scenarios of kids who did deplorable shyt.

Maybe seeing it from the inside out shapes your persepctive the same way of seeing it from the outside in. And, while I can't personally say that I've been in proximity ro be affected by this specific scenario, I've been in proximity intimately to other people and loved ones who were victims of crime.

You ain't gotta agree but you the nikka virtue signaling and grandstanding in here.
If your own grandmother's ass was gropped by him while she was peacefully watching the sunset on her porch , would you say this? He needs to eat the charge and sit down a minute in juvie.

Probably doesn't need decades, but sitting in there for a year or two is the bare minimum compensation for the family that was aggrieved.

Yes , that boy needs counciling, therapy, pharmaceuticals, etc but that doesn't eliminate the harm he caused to that 78 yr old. She probably won't be able to enjoy that porch or feel safe in her house again.

Should have been a life sentence . The physical and psychological well-being of the defendent is irrelevant when irreparable harm is caused to a civilian.

The order of operations for justice is to first prioritize the agreived parties, and then finally the perpetrator. In a best case scenario, both can be appeased.

Recall that his victim is entirely dead. The Grandchildren deprived of their grandmother. Adult children probably psychologically broken for the remainder of their lives. Can you imagine what you as a son would go through having to attend a coroner's examination of the mother who raised you's sodomized anus? Then you must relive all that at the trial. Unacceptable.

But as the perpetrator , you forfeit all attempts at rehabilitation when you both murder and rape someone , because the first party can never be appeased. Even moreso for somebody's grandmother.

@murksiderock , I would only suggest changing one thing about the justice system in such extreme cases. if that 35yr inmate just happened to have rapped and murdered a grandmother from a family of Angels , who legitimately forgive him, then that family should have the ability to reduce his sentence or allow the rehabilitation options you are describing. In this instance , the agreived family's appeasement would be their wish for the perpetrator's betterment.
If this were my grandmother being harmed in this scenario, I would not be in here with the "throw away the key" style responses. Let's be clear, I'm not saying he shouldn't be charged, but it should be completely under a juvenile authority and framework, with clear effort and intention geared to helping wayward youth.

Just throwing him in juvie is what happens far too often, they throw these mf's in baby prisons that teach institutionalization. I've heard its gotten better in some states, since I was that age. Hopefully juvenile reform is in a good place in Kentucky.
If the guy youre referring to was that fried already by 19 its better if they give him life then release him back into the population to terrorize someone else's family. fukk him

Sorry
Nah he was fried because he had no father; his mother was an on-again, off-again junkie who had several other kids after him (he was the oldest), and kept losing her kids to the foster system besides her youngest at the time (I have no idea if she went on to have more kids).

Him and the sister he was closest in age to were kept together thru several rounds of foster care, then when he was 12 for some reason unknown to him, they split him and his sister up. The foster family he was living with at the time of his crime, he wasn't with his sister.

He had all kinds of issues at school, misbehavior, said he liked lighting shyt on fire, set a cat on fire or some shyt. He told me and others all this shyt when we were sitting on the same block in the hole around Nov/Dec 2007, give or take a month, if I recall correctly. So he was 17 at the time, 4 years into a 42-year sentence. I was 18. Two of the younger guys on that wing/section/block at the time.

His is certainly not the only tragic story I encountered, but I'll always remember how his story resonated with me way back then, this dude was failed by every stretch of the "justice" system. And listen, I didn't particularly like the guy, he was a gang rival, he was gay, and he was super disrespectful and weird.

But hammering this mf the way they did, yes the nature of the crime was horrendous. He was 13 years and 27 days old. This was nowhere near an adult who committed these crimes, and he was someone failed by adults at multiple stages of his life.

Giving him 42 years at 15, is a massive, massive, institutional failure at every single level. The last branch that could help him (and I'm not saying no one tried to help him before), but the last people who could've helped him was the courts. They failed him big time.

Maybe he always woulda grown up to be a scumbag. I'm not in favor of prophesying doom on the youth, though.

Ngl, this is the most disgusting video I've seen in a minute. And I wish I never saw it not only because it's one of the most depraved acts I've seen caught on camera in a while but because of the racial implications of a black boy sexually assaulting an elderly white woman in broad daylight in this current climate we're in.

Hes a child. That should warrant therapy first.

His parents are the ones that need to be interviewed/admonished
He clearly has a Grandmama fetish and or he is a predator in the making cause touching always leads to raping.

He needs a lot of therapy on personal space healthy male-female relationships, and sexual impulse control
