A very good #2 is a star though...Arguably the most overrated "star" in the NBA over the past decade. He's a very good #2 option at best.
Had a few good playoff series and people want to call him "Playoff Jimmy"..

I think calling Jimmy a #2 is OD---->#2's can't lead two Finals runs and have some of the playoff moments Jimmy has had as leader of a team...

Yeah, sounds like Steph wants to run it back with Dray/Jimmy until the end, so it's safe to assume that's exactly what they'll be doing. They're looking to add a playmaking wing and/or a center too.
My problem with this is that Jimmy saves his offensive output for the postseason. If he kept his scoring constant all year it would be easier to see him as a #2, which he is.
