What are we doing here. They just agreed to give them 14 billion a few days ago, now Biden is throwing in an extra 800 million after Zelensky guilted them today in front of Congress.

When it’s time to do something for us they are counting every penny, nickel, and dime…debating/nitpicking for months/years. How do some of you not feel shame cheerleading for this shyt? :snoop:

The $800 million in security assistance comes from the massive spending bill the President signed into law on Tuesday, which includes $13.6 billion total in new aid to Ukraine.

According to the White House, the $800 million in security assistance will provide Ukraine with: 800 Stinger anti-aircraft systems, 100 drones, "over 20 million rounds of small arms ammunition and grenade launcher and mortar rounds," 25,000 sets of body armor, 25,000 helmets, 100 grenade launchers, 5,000 rifles, 1,000 pistols, 400 machine guns, 400 shotguns, as well as "2,000 Javelin, 1,000 light anti-armor weapons, and 6,000 AT-4 anti-armor systems."

Ukraine holds its own against Russia in the next 2-4 weeks and it's not out of the question we see a collapse of Putin's regime in Russia. That would create an opportunity for markets and expansion in Russia that hasn't historically been there.

I'm not saying I agree, but the ROI on a $15B investment would be huge for the US/West. And more specifically, for the corporations that own our leaders.
